Policies and Terms

ACCOMMODATIONS: for up to 6 neat considerate adults or 4 adults and 3 well manner children. One poddy trained, non-chewing doggie under 10 lbs. may also visit.  Names and ages of all visitors are required prior to stay. 

Upon making your reservations, we ask that you carefully review our policies and procedures, you will be asked to initial to verify that you understand all policies..

REQUIREMENTS: Two (2) night minimum stay is required, except during peak and holiday periods when minimum stay requirements may be longer. Last minute reservations are always welcome but are subject to availability.

PAYMENTS: Payments made by credit card payments only.  No personal checks.

CHECK-IN TIME is 2:00 PM and CHECK OUT TIME is 12:00 PM. Unauthorized extensions beyond check out time will result in a half to full day charge against your security deposit. To avoid such charges please call us prior to 10:00 AM to see if a late check out is possible.

SUPPLIES: Upon arrival you will find a starter set of soaps, toilet paper & paper towels, coffee, tea cream and sugar. You may want to bring or plan on locally purchasing additional supplies to last your entire stay.

AMENITIES: Children under 16 have to be supervised by adults when using deck dart board. Safety of the children is the sole responsibility of the accompanying adults. Owners waive any responsibility and liability for any accidents which may arise from use of sports equipment, games and items such as Wii or board games. In addition, owners waive any responsibility for any accidents which may arise due to use of outdoor fire pit, snow, ice, and any other hazardous conditions, and negligence by guests or any members of their party.

FIREWOOD: There is one gas fireplace on the property. Firewood is not necessary since this is an environmentally-safe gas fireplace. The gas fireplace is turned on by turning the thermostat up located on the left of the fireplace.  There is a real log fire pit in the back yard.  This may be used, but must be completely put out before unattended.  There is also a gas canister style fire pit that may be used on the front deck during the Spring and Summer.  Again, all small canisters must be closed when unattended.

NON-SMOKING: We do NOT ALLOW SMOKING ON THE PREMISES.  If you are a smoker we suggest another cabin.  This is an absolute.  There are no exceptions. 

NO ILLEGAL DRUGS: Inside or outside we consider the law and do not allow guests to indulged in behavior that is not legal.

TELEPHONES: There is a telephone line that allows unlimited local calls but will require a calling card or credit card to place long distance calls.

HOUSEKEEPING: There is a full size Washer and Dryer located on premises. All reservations are subject to a housekeeping charge of $150.00 for departure cleaning. This charge is itemized in your statement. For weekly guests, daily housekeeping services can be provided upon request for an extra charge of $150.00 daily. An initial bed linen set and one set of bath towels per person are provided. Guests are asked to leave the house with trash gathered and left in the garbage bins inside the garage, dishes washed or dishwasher started and furniture arranged as upon arrival. If the house is left excessively dirty, your security deposit will be charged for additional cleaning charges. Our housekeeping staff will make the final preparations of the house for the next guests.

YOUR CLOTHING STORAGE:  The "King Room" has one side of the closet available for your clothing storage.  Also two small drawers and one large  in the large chest of that bedroom. The master bathroom allows one draw under the sink for your own storage.  The "Queen Room" there is a large chest of drawers and a full closet to guests use.  The "Kids Room" has available closet space but no draw space.  The owner of the house frequents as well, so personal items are around.  You are asked to respect this personal property.

AIR CONDITIONING: As Lake Tahoe enjoys a temperate climate during summer, we do not have air-conditioning.
